I am excited to see this conference coming together. Through the years, the annual user conference has been a highlight each year. A chance for the entire community to come together to learn about new things, to share what they have done, to support each other over shared challenges, to provide feedback to the company about the product, and many other things. I hear from customers time and again about how useful the conferences have been and about the amount of information they received in a short time. Often, the most valuable information is from the conversations with others at the conference so it is important that you come and not just try to get the information from slides that are posted later. This year has another interesting twist in that the conference is being organized, hosted, and run by the user community. So, this really is a User Conference in every sense of the word. I hope you consider this event in your schedule. It will be a week well spent.
Oh, I am sure that there will be a little time to have some fun as well -- it will be in Las Vegas after all. You can leave this part off when talking to the boss. (but in case the boss does see it, you can note that after the User Conference held at Disneyland in the 1990s and at Disneyworld in early 2000s, the biggest complaint heard was that there was so much going on at the conference that was interesting and useful that they didn't even get a chance to sneak out for a day to go to the park)
I have this event booked on my calendar already and will be there for the week. It would be terrific to see all of you there.

Just fantastic! The documentation is incredible. The sessions/tutorials were great. The people were great. The food/drinks/music were all fantastic! The evening with engineering was perfect!! The swag was unexpected and super. The hotel was wild and amusing!
If I have to say something mildly negative: I felt like I’d smoked 20 packs of cigarettes by the end of it but it was so worth it :)

I wanted to drop you a quick note expressing our gratitude regarding last week’s WWRUG show. Being that this was our first exposure to WWRUG, everyone was very welcoming and we look forward to hopefully being a part of this group moving forward.
I was very impressed with everyone I met at WWRUG and it was nice to be at show where users are there to learn as opposed to just wanting to grab cool gadgets. From a business perspective I feel the show was very successful and hope your users found value in our presentation and will continue to find value in our Remedy/Service Desk remote control integration which will be released in the next 60 days.
I had some very nice conversations with many of the attendees and hopefully the attendees will be come comfortable with us sales guys next year…I know we are not always their favorite.
